Journal is a homage to Argentine poet Alejandra Pizarnik (1936-1972), celebrated for her thematically introspective poetry. Inspired by Pizarnik's approach to language, the series features eight photographs depicting three-dimensional collages characterised by minimalism and deliberate simplicity. Each collage comprises sentences extracted from the poet's journal, printed on paper strips, shaded in ink, and delicately folded around steel wires. While one sentence, 'Unbearable tension of colour and form. Everything was on my side remains fully legible; other text fragments are deliberately obscured, hinting at the elusive nature of Pizarnik's introspection.
