Guiding Fabric is a series of ten textile works machine-sewn on unbleached cotton, later hand-stitched onto painted canvases. The pieces explore landscapes, living systems, diagrams, and architectural structures. While based on initial drawings, the works emerge from guiding the fabric through the needle of the sewing machine, an inverted process compared to that of tracing a line on paper. First exhibited at Galerie Barbara Wien from February 24 to April 13, 2024.
