Everything was to be done. All the adventures are still there
2003
This work marks the beginning of the artist's engagement with Swiss sociologist Albert Meister's book "La soi-disant utopie du centre Beaubourg" (1976). The upper section features a photograph of the Beaubourg plateau in Paris before the construction of the Centre Georges Pompidou. Below is an emancipatory quote by writer and artist Kodwo Eshun from a 2000 interview. Since 2003, this work has taken on various printed forms, including posters, newspapers, postcards, and banners.
